The next best attraction is the Laughlin Air Force Base, which is just a short distance down the road. Sandiego is also home to the famous Sutter’s Fort at the center of town. This is a multi-purpose facility that also houses a museum and a couple of historical buildings. If you are visiting Sandiego, you can enjoy a full day of historical or educational tours with over 20 historical events to choose from. You can even take a trip through the casino to see if you can spot your favorite casino player, or get a glimpse of a particular game.
If you have a lot of time, you may wish to drive out to Alta Loma and explore this beautiful valley. It is extremely scenic and offers a beautiful view of the surrounding mountain ranges. If you make the drive out to this beautiful and breathtaking scenery, you will be rewarded with some of the most beautiful sights of the entire region.
If you want to spend the day relaxing, you may wish to make the trek out to the area known as the Mexican Coast. This part of the region is extremely tourist friendly and offers all sorts of activities and restaurants that are sure to keep you busy. If you wish to see some of the beaches, you can either get on a boat or take a tour of the area from one of the restaurants and enjoy a delicious meal and perhaps some well deserved drinks.
Of course, the best way to spend the day while visiting Sandiego is probably to take a relaxing day fishing. If you do not live in the area, there are several boats available for rent. Most boats are equipped with a bar and offer excellent dining, plenty of tables and chairs, as well as some entertainment options for the evening.
